My musical and academic background includes the PhD, MA in Ethnomusicology (Monash University, Australia) and Bachelor of Music and Musicology (Tbilisi State Conservatorium, Georgia, Former USSR).My current academic affiliations are lecturer and teacher in World Music Choir at The University of Melbourne, Georgian Choir director at Melbourne Polytechnic, Australian Music Teachers Register (Victoria), and I hold current Working with Children Card.

Was formed in 2012 in Melbourne, Australia, under the initiative of The Boite World Music Café and its director Roger King. The artistic directors are Nino Tsitsishvili and Joseph Jordania.
Melbourne Georgian Choir is committed to learning and performance of the different traditional Georgian polyphonic styles.
